Promoting Electronization

• Vitaland is using online survey to replace paper survey so that we can reduce paper consumption.

Tuck Shop

• Vitaland replaces plastic food containers and tableware with recyclable or paper food containers to reduce the use of plastic products.
• When we order food ingredients, we calculate the quantity accurately according to the actual consumption for reducing kitchen waste.

Lunch Box

• Provide environmental-friendly tableware to students when a new semester starts, to encourage students to bring their own tableware in the future.
• Provide recyclable disposable plastic lunch boxes, schools are encouraged to choose environmental-friendly lunch boxes that can be reused after cleaning.

Recycling

• A professional recycling company was employed to recycle and process plastic lunch boxes.
• Participated the "Food Waste Recycling Programme" that implemented by the Environmental Protection Department, and the food waste was transported to O · PARK1, the organic resources recovery centre locating at Siu Ho Wan, where food waste was converted into biogas for electricity generation.
